March Matron comes from March being all of my three pumpkins’ birth month and Matron because as much as I wish I was the new 20s, the old 40s is more realistic.

Little Dresses (part 4)
The walls are really tall, so I put up a board with hooks above the window. I love the way the light shines through the dresses.
I added the shoes at the end of the curtain rod. Loving it!

Books part 3
We finished it off - 1000 books!! I’m so excited, and they averaged $1.35 a book!! We even found some $1 classics at Walmart. I know, so many things are wrong with that sentence but I’m an opportunist and was happy to grab them up. In case you missed it, here is the link again: www.thewinterfoundation.org.

Vet
There is that look that dog owners of perfectly-behaved-secondary-to-genetics-and-not-to-training canines give the rest of us and I had more than my share today. We’re planning a trip in few weeks and have to put the puppies in jail for a few days. Odin needed a booster for his vaccines so we packed them into the car and journeyed to the vet’s. They are very cute puppies (even if I do say so myself) so some jumping and leaning and foot-sitting is taken with a grain of salt but still! Oscar of the now 112 pounds needs to chill. Then we went to puppy jail to register where we were told Oscar also needed updates so back in the car, more jumping, leaning and foot sitting and then back to jail. I’ve had enough puppy transport for a while.

Little Dresses (part 3)
To go with the cute little dresses I had to get little shoes. (Two pairs are actually mine, the others are Etsy finds! What did I do before Etsy?)
Then I had to get hangers (‘cause what else could I do?) I found a bunch at a store in Hawaii and then a few on – guess where. . . I cut a few down becuase the dresses are so small. So now I have all my stuff ready to display.

Cake
The cute kid came home late from the tutor’s home yesterday. She had made me a surprise birthday cake! How sweet is she!?! I had a piece and it was great. Then, Oscar was so excited it was my birthday, he snagged the rest. Oscar was put in time out to think about what he had done and Odin was thrown out there for good measure. The kid was heartbroken and spent a long time snuggling with her birthday-girl mommy. I’m lucky to have kids!

Little Dresses (part 2)
After being inspired by my grandma’s little dress, I started collecting other little baby clothes so here are a few of my Etsy finds!
I can’t believe the details that are hand-done on these. It is amazing to me. More to come on my obsession with little girl dresses (which are lots easier to care for than actual little girls.)

Food Day
So for my birthday, the nation is invited to participate in Food Day! I’m planning on driving by McDonalds and shaking my fist at them.
Actually, I’ve changed quite a bit of how I shop and eat but have I lost any weight? Do I feel better? No!! And it is pretty frustrating! Do you have any rants on not being a size 2?

Books part 1
My sister (the one I hope to get in heaven because I’m related to) started The Winter Foundation. It’s a charity that does Sub for Santa stuff. We try to get every kid on the list a book and we go through the school scholastic program. Good books at good prices! My kid brought home her latest book order form. “Mom, I thought I would help you and circle some books you might want.” She handed me the form and giggled, “I circled everything because that is what you get – mainly everything!” How awesome is she!!

Clicker
I was driving, with the kid, at night, looking for a new place so I was concentrating on the street signs. She asked me something and I wasn’t paying attention so I responded with the “I don’t know honey,” that moms use now and then. After about the third “I don’t know,” the kid gave me the eye. “Mom, I don’t think you are listening to me.” I had to fess up and apologize. I was turning and I flipped on the turn single, making the clicking noise. “Mom, I’m kind of like your clicker. I make noise but you don’t really listen to me.” Sigh!

Little Dresses (part 1)
I have a sweet little dress my grandma made. It’s sheer with layers of ruffles sewn with the tiniest stitches. I just love it so I started collecting little baby clothes. They make me happy. I just found some great bargains on Etsy. More to come. . .

Twilight
I just don’t have the words – Twilight card games! Here are two cards: “In the freezing cold, what does Jacob offer Bella that Edward can’t?” “Who thinks Edward and Jacob might like one another if they weren’t natural enemies?” How thought provoking!
Instead of Pinterest here are some Twilight posters.
